Can't sleep? Watch this. Better than knockout drops.
Hi guys
I hope you're enjoying your week. I'm having one of those days where none of my technology works. I am locked out of my email and several other accounts, so am waiting for a brilliant tech support person to fix all my troubles. The more I tinker, the worse it gets.
Which is perhaps why I've been tinkering less with quick articles and spending more time on deeper ones. You may have noticed the frequency has fallen slightly, but the traffic suggests the longer pieces are landing better with you.
Have a look at some of the more popular ones here:

That frequency will pick up again over the coming weeks with a few new features, all in response to the survey I ran at the end of last year.
Jobs
A weekly email covering fractional, NED and C-level roles. It might start a little slower than weekly while I build the pipeline, so feel free to contribute if you are hiring senior people.
Courses and education
This will launch with my own programmes on AI for execs, building narratives for brands, how to write the ultimate executive summary, and sales excellence 2026. There are also conversations happening with some of the universities and training firms behind MBAs and mini courses.
A weekend edition
Showcasing great experiences and products you can spend your hard-earned money on.
Events
Events, dinners and live interviews will continue this year. Shout out if you would like to run one with us.
Interviews with brilliant people: Help...
I've also been recording podcasts with some of my favourite people. The only blocker on releasing these is me: I can't think of a title for it. Ideas welcome. And thank you to the folks at KEF studios for partnering with The Executive Summary.

You may have noticed my go-to-market company rebranded to The Proposition. It better reflects the narratives and customer targeting we pull together for CEOs and their teams to take into market.
There have been a ton of enquiries from AI companies this past year. Many are clearly going nowhere, but there are some that have gone further than building apps on Lovable and hoping they will sell. Tiktok has been a great source of introductions.

The overflow of AI products is hurting people's heads. Take up of Copilot as a paid product remains relatively low, but do not underestimate the wily tricks of the Redmond giant. In July, Microsoft will force bundle Copilot into your unified IT stack, sticking the price up as it goes.
Nice for shareholders - not for buyers.
In response to this, one of our newest clients in this space is a cost-take out marketplace designed to remove unnecessary monthly and annual spend on tech. I'm shaping the story right now. Put your hand up if you want to save a ton of money on recurring technology fees.
And on that, I need to connect with a few people this month for interviews, partnerships and connections. Shout if you know anyone in your network...
- Chief Information Officers of large financial companies.
- Data centre companies expanding their presence and buying land at pace.
- Family offices.
- Luxury car and yacht dealerships.
- Aviation-technology investors.
- CEOs of cyber security firms looking to grow in the UK.
- B2B CEOs who know their message is failing their sales performance.
Hook me up if you can - and if you have any announcements, just shout.
Enjoy the video. If you can't sleep, this will sort that for you. You can thank me later.
Peace out.
Dan x
